Kristin S. Gaines – Chief Transaction Officer

Kristin S. Gaines joined NHI in 1998 as a Credit Analyst.  She was named NHI’s Chief Credit Officer in February 2010 and appointed NHI’s Senior Vice President and Chief Transaction Officer in February 2023.  During her tenure with NHI, Ms. Gaines has had a progressive career in the areas of real estate, finance, and operations. Her experience has resulted in a breadth of expertise in underwriting, asset management, and real estate transactions. Ms. Gaines holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University and earned a Master of Legal Studies with a concentration in Dispute Resolution from Washington University in St. Louis in 2023.
