Ron Reel – Chief Accounting Officer

Prior to joining NHI as Chief Accounting Officer, Ron had almost 30 years of experience in public accounting, partnering in three firms including the regional accounting firm, Rodefer Moss & Co, PLLC. Relevant experience included serving as engagement partner or concurring reviewer on numerous audits of publicly held companies, serving as consultant/liaison during PCAOB inspections, assisting public clients in the preparation of financial statements, the identification and disclosure of risk factors, management analysis, and numerous non-financial statement filings with the SEC. Related experience also included financial due diligence and feasibility work on various mergers and acquisitions. Ron undertook his first assignments with NHI beginning with the 2011 year-end close and continued to bring his expertise to various projects through 2013, when he joined NHI on a full-time basis. Other areas of concentration in his years of public practice included construction and financial institutions. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.
